Prime Printing & Packaging
A digital printing sister concern for short runs and small quantities.
QTEK Labels has opened a sister concern, Prime Printing & Packaging, a digital label printing firm set up to support short runs and small quantities.
Why a digital press alongside label production
Conventional label production is efficient at volume: plates and dies are made once and the cost is carried across a run. That is the right answer for a product that will sell in the thousands, and it is the wrong answer for a trial batch, a seasonal variant, a sample pack or a short promotional run where the quantity does not justify the set-up.
Digital printing removes that set-up step, which is why Prime Printing & Packaging exists: to handle the small quantities that sit below a conventional label run, alongside QTEK’s existing label production.
What it changes for customers
Customers who need a small quantity now have a route through the group rather than being turned away or pushed into an order size they do not need. For larger runs, QTEK’s label production continues as before, with the same quality process behind it.
Where to find them
Prime Printing & Packaging operates from the same address as QTEK Labels: Plot Nos. 4 & 5, A S R City, Kavalcheri Road, Thirumazhisai, Chennai – 600124. Their website is primeprintpac.com.
Next steps
If you have a short run in mind, contact the QTEK team with the quantity, size and artwork and we will tell you which route fits: digital through Prime Printing & Packaging, or a conventional label run through QTEK.
